Putnam Valley Volunteer Fire Department – Holiday Season Wrap-Up

The Putnam Valley Volunteer Fire Department successfully concluded its holiday events for the year, bringing joy and appreciation to our community and members.

The Candy Cane Run was a success, as members happily distributed candy canes to vehicles passing through Town and Mobile
on the Run Flory’s. The event brought holiday cheer to the community and highlighted the spirit of giving that defines the season.
The annual Santa Run made 28 stops throughout town, allowing Santa to visit with both children and adults.
Our Breakfast with Santa event was well attended, featuring crafts, gifts, and holiday cheer for member families.

To close the season, the Chief and President hosted a gathering for members, their significant others, along with
neighboring departments, expressing gratitude for the dedication and support shown throughout the year.

This gathering served as a small token of appreciation for the countless hours our members devote—sacrificing family time, enduring long nights, and working in all types of weather—to ensure the safety and well-being of Putnam Valley.
