Congratulations to Firefighter Dino Fiorentino for completing
Alternative Water Supply Operations Drafting Operations provided by
the Westchester County Department of Emergency Services and hosted by
the Yorktown Heights Volunteer Fire District.

This training provided hands on instruction of static water source, including:

Drafting operations- drafting from bodies of water, portable ponds,
and the role of the source pumper.

Tanker Nursing Operations- Review of using engines and tankers in a
nurse configuration to provide a sustained water supply for
firefighting operations on the fire ground.

Tanker Shuttle Operations- Review of traditional tanker shuttle
operations to support fire attack operations for responding
firefighting personnel.
