On Thursday, July 31st at 11:30PM the Putnam Valley Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to a vehicle fire on Dennytown Road. Upon arrival firefighters discovered three golf carts had ignited and the fire engulfed a nearby vehicle as well. The responders were able to quickly extinguish the burning vehicles and return to Headquarters to put all equipment and apparatus back in service.
