On Sunday December 5th at approximately 12:45pm the Putnam Valley Fire Department F.a.s.t Team was requested to assist Mahopac Falls Vol. Fire Department at a working barn fire in area of Baldwin Road near Somers Commons.
Due to the severity of the fire and the size of the building involved, multiple fire departments from Northern Westchester and Putnam County assisted with fire suppression operations until approximately 3pm which could be seen from multiple miles away.
