On Saturday, October 17th at 7:56pm, the Putnam Valley Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to a structure fire in the area of Denny Town Road. Upon arrival, the structure, a small out building-barn, was fully involved and firefighters quickly went to work to extinguish the blaze. The Fire Investigation Team was also on hand to perform their review in an effort to determine the cause.

Thank you to the Continental Village Volunteer Fire Department, who was on stand by at PVVFD Station 1 with a full crew, truck and tanker and Mahopac Falls on standby at PVVFD Station 2.

All members returned to their respective stations without further incident.
