On Tuesday (7/23) the Putnam Valley Volunteer Fire Department had the opportunity to train with the Putnam County Hazmat Team. This team is specially trained and equipped to respond to emergencies that involve hazardous materials such as fuels, liquid and gas chemicals, providing mitigation and response services in such situations. A big thank you to the Putnam County Hazmat Team for their hard work and support.
