On Monday July 26th at approximately 9:30PM members of the Putnam Valley Fire Department were dispatched to the Barger Pond section of our district for a reported rollover with entrapment.
Upon arrival, members discovered a car veered off the roadway hitting and rock wall causing the car to roll and rest upon the telephone pole. The incident required members to stabilize the car using the rescue struts on 24-2-1 before beginning to extricate the lone occupant from the vehicle.
Members on scene worked along side the Putnam County Sheriff's Department, Putnam Valley Volunteer Ambulance Corps & Putnam County Medic 2
