On July 19th, Putnam Valley Fire was called to Peekskill Hollow Road for a transformer fire. Upon arrival, there was a large tree across Peekskill Hollow road, which took down the overhead wires. The road was temporarily closed as NYSEG was called to the scene to correct the problem.

No injuries were reported and all members returned to their respective stations without further incident.
