On Sunday June 12th, 2021 at approximately 10PM, members of the Putnam Valley Fire Department were requested to assist Mohegan Volunteer Fire Association at a first due working structure fire in their district.
Within minutes of dispatch 24-6-1 responded with a crew to the intersection of Strawberry Road and Lexington Avenue. Once members were on scene they assisted Mohegan with fire ground and fire suppression operations. 24-6-1 was used for filling scba bottles that were being used by members on scene at the time.
Members remained on scene for about 2.5 hours and returned back in district around 12:30AM
