Today at approximately 1:45 PM the Putnam Valley Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to a vehicle fire on the Taconic State Parkway in the vicinity of Pudding Street. Upon arrival, firefighters immediately went to work to contain and extinguish the fire, which was beginning to spread to the dry grass and brush. We were able to clear the scene with no injuries to anyone involved.
