On the morning of August 8th, the Putnam Valley Fire Department was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident on the northbound travel lanes of the Taconic State Parkway.
This accident was a result of a police vehicle chase that started in Elmsford, Westchester County and ensued northbound and resulted in a collision on the Taconic State Parkway, just north of Peekskill Hollow Road. There were multiple law enforcement agencies involved in this incident, including the Putnam County Sheriff's Department, Westchester County Police, and the New York State Troopers.
