On Friday - December 13th at 7:28am - the PVVFD was dispatched to a structure fire on Canopus Hollow Road. Upon arrival, firefighters discovered the structure was fully involved. The structure itself consisted primarily of wooden framework, as it was currently in the construction stage. All respondents worked quickly to contain and extinguish the fire and thankfully no injuries were sustained. Once the fire was out, Fire Investigators began the task of going over the area and working to determine cause. Thank you to all the other agencies who came to assist this morning.
