FIRE PREVENTION DAY GREAT SUCCESS!!

Today we presented our annual Fire Prevention Day event. This year we joined the Putnam Valley Parks and Recreation Department Fall Festival held in Town Park. We had presentations on the NYSP K9 Unit and we demonstrated the dangers of turkey fryer fires. Thank you to the Mahopac Falls Volunteer Fire Department for bringing along their Fire Prevention Safety house, thanks to the New York State Police K9 Unit, the Putnam County Sheriff's Department Child Identification Unit, the Putnam Valley Volunteer Ambulance Corps, Putnam County Bureau of Emergency Services and Department of Health, and of course thank you to our host, Putnam Valley Parks & Recreation!
