Today, August 28th, the PVVFD got an early morning wake up call. At approximately 5:15am we were requested to go on standby for the North Highlands Engine Company # 1 while they operated at a 2nd Alarm Structure Fire in their district. Shortly after the stand-by dispatch, our tanker was requested to the scene to assist in tanker shuttle operations. Our firefighters are currently still on standby at this time along with members of the Hughsonville Fire Department and their tanker.
