On Monday, June 24th from 2:30pm to 8:30pm - PVVFD held their 1st blood drive for the year. We served hamburgers, hot dogs, spaghetti/meatballs for dinner, to those who came out to donate. We had 78 donors and collected 62 pints of whole blood and 12 units of double red blood cells - totaling 74 pints. OUTSTANDING turn out by the Putnam Valley Community!!!

Thanks to Bernie Mahoney, the Blood drive committee, those that were escorts, greeters and cooks who supported this event.

The next blood drive will be in the fall, with more details to come as we get closer to the at date.
