This evening just after 7pm, our firefighters were dispatched to two different motor vehicle accidents.

There was a reported head on collision with injuries in the area of 650 Peekskill Hollow Road. Upon arrival, responding members encountered a three car collision. Due to the location of the vehicles, Peekskill Hollow Road had to be closed until the victims and vehicles were safely removed. One male patient with minor neck pain was transported to NYP-HVHC by Mahopac Falls Vol. Fire Department ambulance.

The other accident occurred in the area of 70 Pleasant Road. This accident involved a moped which went down an embankment of approximately 6ft. Upon arrival, personnel encountered one female patient down the embankment with neck pain. Once responders brought the patient up from the embankment she was transported to WMC by Mohegan Volunteer Fire Association Volunteer Ambulance Corps.
