On February 18th at approx. 8:40PM the Putnam Valley Vol. Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle accident on Church Road. This was a car versus tree accident; the tree in this incident was a 60 foot pine which was actually snapped and fell due to the impact of the vehicle. Upon arrival the occupants were safely outside the vehicle and were taken to the Hospital for observations.
