During the week of October 8th through the 14th, Putnam Valley Fire Department was busy with Fire Prevention Week and Open House activities.

We visited several pre-schools and our own Putnam Valley Elementary School, providing hundreds of our community children the opportunity to learn about fire safety, meet some of the local firefighters and of course, check out our really cool trucks!

Our Open House was well attended, as always there was plenty to do, see, learn and the best barbecue burgers and sausage in the County!

There is so much time, work and planning that goes into making these events a success and if it wasn't for all your hard work and dedication, we could not have provided such an awesome service to our community!
