On Sunday - July 24th at 2:00 AM the PVVFD received a call for a structure fire off Church Road. Personnel and apparatus responded to extinguish the fire. Upon arrival, firefighters discovered the front entrance area of a solid beam construction dwelling fully engulfed in flames. They were able to immediately extinguish the flames and save the dwelling from further damage. All members returned safely back to their respective stations with no injuries reported.
