The PVFD once again held the Annual 9-11 Memorial Service in Town Park to honor those who lost their lives in the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. The event was well attended by the Fire Department, the Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, family members and the community itself.

Thank you all for coming out and honoring all the souls lost due to this tragic event.

“Time is passing. Yet, for the United States of America, there will be no forgetting September the 11th. We will remember every rescuer who died in honor. We will remember every family that lives in grief. We will remember the fire and ash, the last phone calls, the funerals of the children.” –George W. Bush
