The Putnam Valley Fire Department responded to two separate automobile accidents on the Taconic State Parkway, both accidents occurring in essentially the same location, in the northbound lane, just south of Route 301.

The first incident occurred Friday night (4/10) at approximately 9:25PM in which two people were injured and transported by ambulance for medical care. The second incident occurred early Sunday morning (4/12) around 6AM, where none of the vehicles occupants were injured.

Ironically, in both accidents, the vehicles were fully engulfed by flames upon arrival and firefighters were able to work quickly and extinguish the fire.
