The PVFD began its annual interior firefighter training qualifications on Sunday - March 22nd at the Putnam County Fire Training Center. This is an all-day event which provides hands-on, life like training for such critical skills as victim search and rescue, hose line advancement, operating the fire apparatus and other essential fire ground activities. Active firefighters, officers, apparatus operators and scene support personal are all involved in this mandatory training.
