Sunday the 28th of September, PVFD members held a roof ventilation drill at the training center. It was well attended and the team was able to practice these important skills.

Ventilation is the process of removing smoke, heat & toxic gases and replacing them with cool, clean, oxygen-rich air. Firefighters use ventilation techniques to gain control of the fire, to allow life-saving search and rescue operations to be safe and effective.
