Today, August 28th, the PVVFD got an early morning wake up call. At approximately 5:15am we were requested to go on standby for the North Highlands Engine Company # 1 while they operated at a 2nd Alarm Structure Fire in their district. PVVFD Fast Team called to assist Croton-on-Hudson Fire Department

This past Saturday August 24th, at approximately 8AM the Putnam Valley Volunteer Fire Department Fast Team was requested to assist the Croton-on-Hudson Fire Department at a 3 Alarm structure fire in the Half Moon Bay Condo Complex on the Hudson River. Monday 8/19, at approx. 1pm, the Putnam Valley Volunteer Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle accident involving a tanker trunk with reported entrapment that went off the road way and overturned spilling approximately 3000 gallons of asphalt emulsion which leaked into the stream on Peekskill Hollow Road.
