PVVFD Responds to Early Morning MVA on Tinker Hill
Financial Secretary Lois Rizzi, March 04
On March 4rd, at approximately 5:00 AM, PVVFD was dispatched to Tinker Hill for a reported motor vehicle accident. A vehicle had overturned onto its side, and the driver required assistance to exit. The driver was assessed at the scene and transported to the hospital for additional evaluation.

PVVFD Responds to MVA on the TSP
Financial Secretary Lois Rizzi, February 13
On February 11th, at approximately 6:18PM, the PVVFD was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident on the Taconic State Parkway. Upon arrival, crews found two vehicles involved. Both vehicles sustained damage and required towing, and 1 occupant evaluated on scene and transported to a nearby hospital for further medical evaluation.

Annual Call Award Dinner

On February 7th, the PVVFD held their Annual Call Award Dinner. Members who reached significant call milestones where awarded a plague/plate displaying their total number of calls for 2025.
Thank you to the committee who worked very hard to make this event a success and the continued support of the Lake Mohegan Fire volunteers to helped serve dinner and clean up as well.

Weekend Snowstorms Keep PVVFD Busy

PVVFD units responded to numerous calls throughout the weekend (1/17-18) as a series of snowstorms moved through the valley. Members operated continuously, addressing incidents as heavy snowfall and rapidly falling temperatures created hazardous conditions along the Taconic State Parkway, Denny Town Road, and Tinker Hill.

PVVFD Responds to MVA on the TSP

On Thursday, January 15th, at approximately 7:45 PM, the PVVFD was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident on the Taconic State Parkway. Upon arrival, crews found three vehicles involved off to the side of the roadway. Traffic moved slowly, as the guardrail sustained damage and was partially obstructing the roadway.
