On Monday – September 28 at 5:07AM the PVVFD was dispatched to an personal injury automobile accident on the Taconic State Parkway - northbound lane, just below the Peekskill Hollow Road exit. There was a single vehicle involved which had traveled off the parkway and crashed into the nearby woods alongside the roadway. The scene was secured and the driver was transported by Kent Ambulance to the hospital for medical attention.
