Vehicle Overturns on the TSP

AUGUST 25 - At approximately 5:20 this evening the Putnam Valley Fire Department was alerted to the Taconic State Parkway northbound at mile marker 29.4 for a reported Personal Injury Auto Accident (PIAA). Dispatch advised fire units and EMS that there was one victim which was out of the vehicle. Rush Hour Accident Causes Delays

AUGUST 22 - At 5:01 this evening the Putnam Valley Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to Bryant Pond Road and the Taconic State Parkway Northbound exit ramp for a Personal Injury Auto Accident (PIAA). Firefighters quickly assessed patients and secured the scene while the fire police controlled traffic. Car Crashes on Quiet Residential Street

JULY 26 - Shortly after 2:00pm on Saturday July 26th, 2008 the Putnam Valley Fire Dept was toned out to 65 Lincoln Road off Church Road for a reported Property Damage Auto Accident (PDAA) with a car fire. Lieutenant Gembecki was first on scene and requested Putnam 911 to dispatch EMS for two patients. Working Car Fire

JULY 19 - On July 19th, 2008 at approximately 10:30am the Putnam Valley Fire Dept was called to number 7 Melnick Place in the Lake Peekskill area of Putnam Valley for a reported car fire. Lieutenant Koenig was one of the first on scene advising dispatch there was a working car fire. Other members contained the fire to the engine compartment with a garden hose until fire apparatus arrived on scene.

Birds Nest Starts Blaze

MAY 13 - At 2100 hours this evening, Putnam Valley Firefighters were summoned to a reported structure fire in the Highfields development. After investigating a smell of something burning, neighbor Julie Fraitag spotted the flames traveling up the front of unit number 33.
